This page outlines the complete set of guidelines, participation rules, refund policies, media usage rights, and student responsibilities while enrolled in our acting programs.
Whether you’re joining our 1-Year Work Registration Program, Weekend Acting Course, or Portfolio Services, these terms ensure transparency, professionalism, and legal protection for both the academy and our students.
Please read carefully before registering, as acceptance of these terms is mandatory for participation in any acting project, short film, or web series conducted by Shoot Ready.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for any course or work registration plan at Shoot Ready Acting Academy, the student (“you”) agrees to abide by all the terms and conditions outlined herein. These terms apply to all in-person, digital, or shoot-based programs conducted by the academy.
2. Enrollment & Registration

All registration forms must be filled out accurately and honestly.

Submission of registration and payment indicates full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

The academy reserves the right to reject or cancel any registration due to non-compliance, misconduct, or false representation.
Work Registration Plans, 1-Month Courses, 3-Month Programs, and Weekend Acting Classes are strictly non-refundable, regardless of participation, attendance, or personal circumstances.

Once registration is confirmed and payment is processed, the seat is reserved and resources are allocated accordingly.
3. Course Participation & Commitment

Students must maintain discipline, punctuality, and professionalism during sessions and shoots.

Regular attendance and active participation are mandatory for successful completion of any course.

The academy reserves the right to terminate participation in case of misconduct, disrespectful behavior, or any activity harmful to the academy’s reputation — without refund.
4. Work Registration & Project Allocation

Under the Work Registration Program, students will be offered projects (short films, scenes, web projects) over a 12-month period.

Role allocation (lead/supporting) will be done as per student’s performance, availability, and script requirements.

Once a student has participated in a project shoot, they will not be eligible for any refund.

5. Ownership & Rights to Videos, Photos & Performances

All content (videos, photos, behind-the-scenes, reels, etc.) shot under the academy banner shall be the exclusive intellectual property of Shoot Ready Acting Academy.

The academy reserves full rights to use the footage for:

Marketing, advertising & promotion (online & offline)

Social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook

Portfolio & Showreel creation for students (with/without watermark)

Website & third-party collaboration

Students may not claim any commercial rights, demand takedown, or restrict the usage of any material recorded during shoots.
6. Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Shoot Ready Acting Academy, your seat, shoot schedule, and creative resources are reserved as soon as your registration is confirmed. Hence, all payments are considered final and governed by the following terms:
6.1 Non-Refundable Fees
All fees paid towards any course or work registration plan are strictly non-refundable, except under approved special cases.
6.2 Conditional Refunds

If a refund request is submitted before any project/shoot begins and is approved by the management, a flat 50% deduction will apply.

This deduction covers administrative charges, seat locking, pre-production planning, and operational expenses.
6.3 No Refund After Shoot Participation
Once a student has been assigned or has participated in even one (1) shoot, short film, video reel, or any official recording — no refund will be granted under any condition.
6.4 Refund Request Procedure

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.
Refunds are offered only as a goodwill gesture, not as a guaranteed right. By making the payment, you agree to the refund conditions mentioned above.
7. Creative Content & Scene Participation

Acting requires participation in diverse roles. Scenes may include emotional, dramatic, romantic, or intense performances.

By enrolling, the student agrees to be part of various scenes within professional and industry boundaries.

If a student has specific limitations, they must inform the academy before shoot planning.

Post-shoot objections will not be entertained.
8. Dress Code & Appearance

Students are expected to follow costume directions and appear groomed as per shoot requirements.

Non-compliance may result in removal from the project or shoot schedule.
9. Promotion & Public Use of Student Identity

The academy may use student names, images, performances, and voice in its promotions across social media, marketing, websites, and campaigns.

No royalty, compensation, or permission shall be required for this.
10. Payment Terms

All payments must be made in full and in advance.

Students with pending fees will not be allowed to participate in future shoots or receive deliverables like certificates or IMDb profiles.
11. Liability Disclaimer

The academy is not responsible for any personal injury, loss of belongings, or emotional discomfort during sessions or shoots.

Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.
12. Code of Conduct

Bullying, harassment, substance abuse, or any form of misbehavior will lead to immediate removal without refund.

Respect towards staff, co-actors, and production team is mandatory.
13. Legal Jurisdiction
Any legal matter will be subject to the jurisdiction of Udham Singh Nagar District Court, Uttarakhand.
14. Policy Changes
Shoot Ready Acting Academy reserves the right to update, revise, or change these terms at any time. Students are advised to visit the website regularly for the latest updates.
15. Agreement Confirmation
By registering with Shoot Ready Acting Academy and making any payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, including the Refund Policy.
